This tutorial takes you step by step through a range of watercolour techniques. These include how to build your colours from dark to light for some sections of the bird. In addition we will be using colours over the top of watercolour white and underneath it. A very upside down painting – a bit like that Goldfinch in the montage painting! All this alongside a range of watercolour techniques and styles.
